From a young age I wanted to grow up to be a lot of things, but once I entered high school I realized with animation I could do every single one of those jobs that I aspired to be. By that time, I was also well adapted into making characters, building their backstories, outfits and everything else that revolved around them therefore it’s almost like a second nature to me. My friends challenge me to make characters with certain overpowered characteristics and make them work as a normal character almost daily. With this passion, I want to achieve writing impossible characters into popular stories and show the world.
During all my projects there is something I always keep in mind as I work and it’s too, “Keep Moving Forward.” Monty Oum. All his quotes have given me the inspiration to do what I need to do for my dreams to come true. To push myself further in the industry and never stop trying. Always work toward making my art better. “I believe that the human spirit is indomitable. If you endeavor to achieve, it will happen given enough resolve. It may not be immediate, and often your greatest dreams is something you will not achieve within your own lifetime. The effort you put forth to anything transcends yourself, for there is not futility even in death.” -Monty Oum.
As you go throughout your career you always get better as you go, but not without challenges.
Through the years after the Art Institute of Indianapolis closed, I've been driven to follow my dream even further. Most of my idols didn't need a degree for a career. why would I? I spend a lot of my free time working towards my goals, updating my Web Comic, World Building and practicing my craft between freelance commission work. I've even moved to Dallas Texas to try my shot at a career, and what would you know? 2020 said NO! Covid-19 hit and since everyone had to work from home no one knew my work effort to hire me, which I understand it's easier to see how a new artist is doing in person at the office then online. Although this did put a damper on my dreams, but that won't stop me or my abdominal spirit as I will continue to achieve the impossible.
It's been a difficult journey but I know one day my talent will be seen and I will achieve what now seems untannable.
